Frequently Asked Questions

The NDIS is an Australian Government scheme that funds reasonable and necessary costs for people with disability.

Find out more about the NDIS

If you meet the following criteria, you may be eligible to become an NDIS participant:

  • Age: under 65 years.
  • Residency: live in Australia and be an Australian citizen or have paperwork letting you live here permanently.
  • Disability: your disability is permanent, or you need early intervention to reduce the future need for support.

If you have an NDIS plan, you are entitled to pay for any ‘reasonable and necessary’ supports that will help you to reach your goals. There are fifteen support categories that you can receive support for under an NDIS plan.

At LiveBig, we offer support under two categories – Improved Health & Wellbeing and Improved Daily Living.

The NDIS Price Guide is a document that specifies limits that service providers are allowed to charge NDIS participants. This ensures that you are getting the best value from your plan.

These prices are reviewed annually and published on the NDIS website on 1 July.
