Meet the Team: Haya Hammad (WA)

LiveBig welcomes to the team, Haya Hammad, our new Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner servicing South of River, Perth (WA).

Haya has over nine years of experience in the Disability Sector working in various roles, her experience and knowledge will be extremely beneficial for our LiveBig team in Western Australia.

With an abundance of expertise in the Disability Sector, Haya brings a diverse skill set that includes NDIS ATHM Planning, Specialist Support Coordination, Counselling, and NDIS Performance Management. As she nears the completion of her master’s degree in Psychotherapy, Haya has a deep understanding of psychological principles, allowing her to provide holistic support to participants and their families. Haya’s specialisation in conditions such as ASD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Dementia, and various psychosocial disabilities, gives her the ability to address a wide range of challenges with precision.

Beyond her professional achievements, Haya has a colourful array of interests. Her passion for history and culture enriches her perspective and enhances her ability to connect with others. Haya is fluent in both English and Arabic, she is also proficient in basic Auslan Sign Language.

Haya’s professional experience encompasses a wide range of responsibilities. She conducts Behaviour Assessments, develops, writes, and reviews Positive Behaviour Support Plans in collaboration with stakeholders. Haya also trains and supports the implementation of these plans and ensures compliance through meticulous documentation. Haya offers her expertise through case studies and training for her peers and team members, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing.
