Services FAQ

What is the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)?

The NDIS is an Australian Government scheme that funds reasonable and necessary costs for people with disability.

Find out more about the NDIS.

What services can I receive under the NDIS?

If you have an NDIS plan, you are entitled to pay for any ‘reasonable and necessary’ supports that will help you to reach your goals. There are fifteen support categories that you can receive support for under an NDIS plan.

At LiveBig, we offer support under two categories – Improved Health & Wellbeing and Improved Daily Living.

What service does LiveBig offer?

Find out more about the services LiveBig provides and their associated NDIS categories on our services page.

How do I find out if you offer services in my area?

We aim to always be transparent on timing and whether we can provide services in your area. To find out if we offer services in your area, enquire online through our service finder tool.

When I have signed up for a service, how is this service provided?

Services are performed at your home or in a community venue, whatever suits you best. Charge for travel time of up to 30 minutes is as per the NDIS Price Guide.

Once your services start, we ensure that we regularly check in and that you are happy with your service and achieving your goals.

How do I make a service enquiry?

You can submit a service enquiry online via our service finder tool and we will respond to you within 24 hours (or the next business day).

How do I make a referral?

Referring a person with disability to LiveBig is easy. Call us on 1300 390 222, complete the service enquiry form or make a full online referral. Someone from LiveBig will contact you within 24 hours of receiving your enquiry (or the next business day). From there, we will send through a service agreement for approval. Once this is approved, we match our new client with one of our allied health specialists and services commence.

What is your usual wait time?
If we provide services in your area, our wait time from initial enquiry to service provision is a minimum of four weeks, which is significantly shorter than many other NDIS service providers.
How much do LiveBig services cost?

Services are charged as per the NDIS Price Guide.

Where can I find rules or guidelines about the NDIS?

Please refer to the NDIS operational guidelines.

How can LiveBig help with a planning meeting?

If you are preparing for an NDIS planning meeting, you may need to get an assessment of your disability and provide evidence.

We offer a range of assessments for psychology, occupational therapy, exercise physiology, speech pathology and physiotherapy.

When you contact us or are referred to us for an assessment, we will contact you within 24 hours (or the next business day) and organise an appointment for you to meet with one of our specialist allied health professionals.

This assessment can be conducted at your home or in a community venue, whatever suits you best. Charge for travel time of up to 30 minutes is as per the NDIS Price Guide.

LiveBig currently provide services face-to-face in the Sydney and Melbourne metropolitan areas and remotely through the RMReach telehealth platform Australia wide.
