With two years of experience in this field and a background as a mental health nurse for seven years, Cecilia brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our organisation.
Her experience spans across working with participants of all ages, addressing a wide range of behaviours, from minimal to complex concerns. She excels in developing personalised, person-centered intervention plans and providing support to ensure their successful implementation among support providers and caregivers, with the ultimate goal of reducing and eliminating restrictive practices.
Cecilia’s skill set includes behaviour analysis, designing intervention behaviour plans, implementing intervention strategies, managing behavioural challenges, and handling complex care scenarios, among other areas of expertise.
Her primary service area encompasses individuals of all ages with various disabilities, particularly children aged between 6 to 17 years old who have ASD, ADHD, and ODD. However, Cecilia’s experience also extends to individuals with intellectual disabilities, Para-Willi-Syndrome, Down Syndrome, as well as those dealing with Suicidal Ideation, Anxiety, Depression, Dementia, PTSD, Alzheimer’s, and more.
