Hannah has a diverse background in the disability sector, her expertise spans across both public and private settings. Hannah has advanced skills in the areas of equipment prescription and enhancing individuals’ independence with activities of daily living. Although she has experience in working with both paediatric and adult populations, her primary focus has been on adult clients in the community. Hannah strives to enhance the quality of life for her clients and she achieves this by ensuring they receive client-centred care through goal-setting and collaboration.
Hannah’s skillset extends to the complex assessment and intervention for individuals over 18 years old, who may be challenged due to an injury, illness, disability, psychological challenge, or the effects of aging. Hannah’s competence lies in providing enabling equipment and advice to support an individual’s functional participation within the community. Beyond this, her advanced skills are evident in collaborating with diverse professions, engaging with community stakeholders, and offering crucial feedback and education to parents and teachers.
Hannah brings her multifaceted experience to address an array of client needs. From enhancing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to conducting Seating/Wheelchair Assessments, she ensures that her clients have the optimal support for their mobility requirements.
Hannah shows a commitment to continuous learning through her additional training in Dementia care, Motor Neuron Disease, seating and bathroom adaptations. This dedication positions Hannah as a therapist who remains at the forefront of her field, offering the latest strategies to support the participants she works with.
