What is Telehealth and why is LiveBig supporting it?
Telehealth is just another way to meet with your therapist using digital devices such as computers and mobile phones. Our consultants utilise telehealth to provide real-time and remote clinical assessments, intervention and/or consultation services though video conferencing.

Why is LiveBig using Telehealth?
With physical distancing restrictions in place due to COVID-19, LiveBig has adapted our services to enable service continuity to our clients. By offering our services online we can continue to connect with each other and work together to achieve your goals from the comfort and safety of your home.
Is telehealth as effective as face to face?
Yes, telehealth can be as equally effective as face to face services, given the person receiving the service is able to effectively participate in the session, they have access to a suitable device and internet and the type of assessment/intervention can be delivered remotely.
What if I’m not sure about suitability of telehealth for me/my family member or my client?
Our therapist will assess suitability for telehealth at the initial consultation and inform you if telehealth is possible for the assessment type and/or intervention required to meet desired goals. If you identify the barrier to telehealth is availability of a suitable mobile device, LiveBig can provide one for the period of engagement. Please contact us at 1300 390 222 for more details.
Will telehealth cost more?
No, our fees and charges are the same, regardless of the method of engagement, and are inline with the NDIS Price guide. In fact, receiving services via telehealth does not require therapist travelling to our client’s home – meaning more hours left on the plan to spend on intervention and consultation with our therapist/s.
Is my information private?
Yes, at LiveBig, we use a secure platform called RMReach to provide telehealth. You can find out more about it here
Is there a waitlist for telehealth services?
