Allied Health Assistants (AHA) are individuals who work under the supervision of health care professionals, within the NDIS framework to provide therapeutic and program-related supports. AHAs provide direct client care across multiple disciplines such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech pathology to name a few. AHAs are also qualified professionals who have either completed or are currently studying a Certificate III or Certificate IV at a minimum.
At LiveBig we recommend utilising our AHAs to get more out of your NDIS plan. These individuals add value, extra support and high-quality care for our participants which is demonstrated in their measurable success.
Our Allied Health Assistant’s play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of allied health services across various disciplines. Our AHAs can assist in joint treatment sessions where a second staff member is required and continue therapy programs as per the clinicians recommendations.
Our AHAs contribute significantly to LiveBig’s success. From upholding core values, providing high-quality intervention, and ensuring compliance with LiveBig processes, AHAs are instrumental in supporting clients and clinicians.
We are excited to introduce Elaheh Smith, our newest Allied Health Assistant at LiveBig! Elaheh will be supporting participants in Perth, Western Australia. Elaheh has international experience as a clinician within the field of disability and she can support our clients with their psychosocial, physical, communication and daily living goals.
